Chakra Balancing Yoga Workshop

An introductory workshop to help transform your yoga practice and your life!
We’ll explore movement, meditation and breath for the subtle body. It will include gentle, slow, and purposeful asanas (physical postures) guided by deep yogic breathing, to tune into each of the seven major chakras, or wheels of energy, within the body.
The chakra system correlates with the glands, organs and functions of the human body. For yogis and people interested in healing, the chakras are a map and can give us information about what might be out of balance within our bodies and our lives.
We all have a continuous flow of energy moving through us. The way in which the energy flows determines our predominant characteristics and behaviours. Our tendencies to indulge in specific emotions or behaviours can be due to an accumulation of energy at these specific energy centres of the body.
Come and discover your subtle body, cleanse yourself of stuck patterns of thought, emotions or behaviours and leave with a better understanding and connection to your WHOLE self.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and all mats and props will be provided.
